The Daily Quest: Tips and tricks for the Shattering

WoW Insider's on a Daily Quest to bring you interesting, informative and entertaining WoW-related links from around the blogosphere.
So how have you been spending the days before Cataclysm's release? Rolling an alt, questing through the new zones, or tying up loose ends in Northrend? Today, we have a few post-Shattering tips and tricks from various blogs around the blogosphere.
- Cynwise's Battlefield Manual fills warlocks in on how to change a demon's name.
- Tree Bark Jacket answers that all-important question: "How do I get Deathwing to murder me?"
- Mana Obscura has some tips on taking better screenshots, now that the Shattering has given us some new views to capture.

It's just being bombarded by people that want to know "How do I get Deathwing to murder me?" The only problem is that the link actually answers the question "Would you like to see a screenshot of when Deathwing randomly murdered me?"

Hi all - sorry my site is buckling under the strain, usually it's not an issue.
The post includes FAQs from Blizzard on how long Deathwing will be around, whether you can be alerted to where he's about to hit (so you can run there), etc.
It's not just a screenshot, I don't know why Foxfyr would say that.

It seemed fairly well explained. I got toasted by DW while doing some 5v5 PVP in WPL... it came at a great time, as no matter how either team tried, we couldn't get the opposing healers down... so Deathwing took care of it for us :)

Ahhhh, The "Great" Divide.
I assumed there was a way across as I rode south on my mammoth, I went all the way north, nothin', all the way south, nothin', I rode up a hill as a high level looked on, and dove off to my death much to his dismay.
Resurrected on the other side.

Tree Bark Jacket stood in the WoW Insider fire and was one-shot.
Translation: my host pulled the site due to excess traffic. 404d.
I'm trying to get it back up now. I've always had great service from this host, and never any issues when I've been linked from WoW Insider before, or during the 4.0 massive traffic spike.. but I guess a lot of people want to know how to be killed by Deathwing and it was a mad rush to go look.
The cached version that Tiger linked works though.

My troll druid is level 67 now (with no BOAs, ugh) and I'm pretty sure I've already spent way too much time playing this week. Don't think 80 is gonna happen by Cataclysm time. It's still been a fun run through the old world though, and I did manage to get cooked by Deathwing in Tanaris.
