slightly off-topic, but can we just for a second talk about what incredible fun levelling a prot pally is right now. Even though I have an 80 pally, she never picked up shield except to heal people with it, and i'm having a BLAST levelling as prot. Avenger's shield is one of the coolest graphics in the game, and I also love the spell effect of hammer of the righteous. After 5 years of WoW this toon has turned into some of the most fun I have ever had. The new zones are fantastic. The stream-lined dungeons, with quests right at the entrance!, are a blast to tank. It's just all soo goood, and I'm having such a great time, I just had to share. The only thing I'm dreading is the call of Outlands for at least the 10th or 11th time, which hopefully Azeroth will keep me from for as long as possible.Moooooo.

Agree 100%. I tried leveling a ret pallie last year and it was horrible. I got to 37 and just couldn't take it anymore: Judgment... swing... swing.., swing... Judgment... swing... swing...But I decided to give the class another try when the Sunwalkers became available (my main is a Tauren and I like that race best) and decided to start as Prot and have been having a great time tanking for nothing but Troll druids and Undead hunters (I have a hard time remembering what WoW was like before the constant whoosh of Rejuv.)I just hit level 30 and dual-specced into Holy so I could try out both "important" roles on one toon for the first time (all my others have a first or second DPS role.) It's been great.

OMG yes, I started a new paladin both to see how they level now and to see the new AF questlines, but once I got dual spec at 30 and started tanking I stopped questing altogether for 12 levels, it was so much fun. Not the biggest fan of tanking at 80 anymore on any of my tanks, but wowsers is lowbie tanking a blast! As a side-note, one of my happiest moments in all of wow was when I deleted Pallypower from my computer when 4.0.1 hit! got a wierd look from my roomate for yelling "NEVER AGAIN!", but if he had ever raided with a paladin he would have understood.
