You're not missing anything. Buffs have been significantly consolidated at this point. I really don't see how anyone can justify the memory usage (even if it's very small like 1kb) of a buff monitoring addon. The only addon you should get would be a full raid buff mod, that tracks everything like flasks and food buff. Really, only the raid leaders need that one though to make sure everyone is flasked and well fed, and to see if any stragglers are missing a buff somewhere.
