Much as I love these pet addons, what I really need is something that mimics the "bestform" function from the venerable Druid Bar addon. Any suggestions? What I want is to be able to press ONE button that mounts an appropriate mount (ground or flying) if i'm standing still, does flight/travel form if I'm moving and aquatic form if i'm swimming.

GoGoMount. I love it to death. http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addons/details/gogomount.aspx

YayMounts and Livestock do this. Although I'm sure there are others.

Tried both and neither does what I'm asking for.GoGoMount will use forms INSTEAD of mounts. Not what I want.Neither addon handles swimming form....Druid Bar actually still works, but the config screen is borked. Have to edit the LUA to change what mount it uses. Also, now even the old world is tagged as flyable, this breaks the fly/ground mount selection process.

You can use GoGoMount to use forms in addition to mounts, and therefore if you're moving, the form will be the only option. Rarely (or not so rarely, depending on how many mounts you have) you might get a form instead of a mount even when standing still, but it's definitely not a one-or-the-other-only addon. You just have to configure it properly.

Squire2 does that too.

Try Mounted. It has conditions for moving and such.

That should be possible without an addon. Here's the macro I use:/use [swimming] !Aquatic Form; [flyable, nocombat] !Swift Flight Form; [nomounted, nocombat] <YOUR LAND MOUNT HERE>/use [nomounted] !Travel Formwith a /dismount /cancelform macro on another button. Note that the above requires Cold Weather Flying and Flight Master's License to work properly (until Tuesday you could replace the [flyable, nocombat] condition for SFF with something like [modifier:alt]).
