Alliance wins Darkmoon Faire contest; final video unlocked

The Alliance has vanquished their Horde foes in the first (incredibly unofficial) PvP battle of Cataclysm, the Darkmoon Faire: Your Fortune Awaits community unlockable "contest." As a result of their stunning victory, the Alliance won ... nothing. Don't spend it all in one place, guys!
An hour or two after the Alliance reached 100 percent, the Horde too reached their 100 percent goal. With both factions at 100 percent, the final community video, "Reforging of the World," was unlocked (above). It's a look at some of the zones changed in the shattering, along with some videos of the new post-level-80 zones unlocked in Cataclysm.

Thanks for the warning about the new zones being included. I'll take this opportunity to not watch it and keep myself as spoiler free as I can be moving in to Cataclysm!

Well...no wonder the Alliance is losing territory left and right. They're all too busy Facebooking and Twittering to defend themselves from the Horde. :D

Yup, the alliance is losing territory while adding former horde allies to their ranks that are pissed off at Garrosh.
Good luck with that guy btw, he'll be the undoing of the horde :P

Worgen for Alliance + Garrosh for Horde; that combo made me defect to the Alliance.
It'll be fun to gank Garrosh with my Worgen Druid, and my DORF Shaman.

If I am not mistaken, this is also the same music used in Darkshore when you're making your final push against the Forsaken and Trolls in the north end of the zone.

Agreed. I love myself "The Shaping of the World: Revisited" I loved the first version and the second is even MORE epic. Incredible.

That first bit of music sounded very Chrono Cross-esque. The new music that came with the Shattering patch has just been phenominal.

Looks like Blizzard took a page from EQ2's "overland" level design. Also, can I just say hooray for WoW's world builders? Nothing even comes close.

yes yes, for the alliance. As a horde player, I am very glad we didn't win. I don't want to be associated with the faction that spams facebook the most.

the Horde didn't lose... they arrived fashionably late.
this way everyone needed to wait for us to get the goodies.
but I have to say, the Alliance is particularly good at winning "nothing". :)

I thought the video was OK until the screaming dragon at the end.
After 2 years of screaming dragons I am done with them.

This expansion is about that dragon destroying our sh*t.
What do you want it to do instead of screaming? Yell out "O HAI GUYZ!!"?
It's a dragon. It screams. Stop complaining about dragons screaming.
