Despite the troll racial, no one wants to use a bow. They'll just think we're one o them damned hippie tree hugging elves.

Actually I prefer bows.. they fit the theme of WoW better. I was quite disappointed that WOTLK only provided a few bows, and most of them were rather difficult to get. There should be more bows available to the more casual user.

It doesn't help that the troll male bow animation makes them look like they've NEVER used a bow before. They pull the string UP away from the bow, therefore firing the arrow into either the ground or their own foot.

Sorry for the double post but...how do bows "fit the theme of WoW better"?This is a magitek world, guns fit just as well as gyrocopters, airplanes, teleporters, mechanohogs...I can go on.

Hadn't you heard? Trolls are apparently descended from elves. :)

Actually, it's the other way, elves might or might not be trolls transformed by well of eternity.

I never understood why so many people perceive the Night Elf's love of nature as a flaw or a sign of weakness. Maybe if you were to read some lore, you would realize that the Night Elves are the single most brutal and violent race in the entire game. Yes, they are even more brutal than Orcs. There's a famous quote that gets thrown out a lot where Grom Hellscream himself showed that he was surprised and impressed by how vicious they are. Sure they're tree huggers, but they're VIOLENT tree huggers. And that makes all the difference. Also, the theory gos that Night Elves evolved from Trolls. While there's not really much evidence behind it, I could see that being the case. Particularly since comparing a Night Elf to a Troll is like comparing a modern day human to a cave man.

Sometimes i hate how humorless a lot of people on wow insider are. Mugutu was making a joke... don't take it so personally. Frostheim himself often jokes about those tree hugging hippy night elves, which is obviously what mugutu was referencing.
