Thanks Frostheim. Regarding Guns vs Bows, I just get tired of the gun sounds; the bows and crossbows are much more quiet.

I use this addon now... the gun noise is just too harsh otherwise. I still prefer bows :)

The nice thing about that addon, it works on everyone's gun. So, even if you're not a hunter, and just don't like the noise, you can install this addon. It just requires you copy a few sound files into a particular folder and you're set.

I actually prefer the gunshot sound. To be fair, my raid has expressed annoyance on a few occasions. But I find it comforting to hear my hunter doing something. Otherwise i wonder if i'm actually firing or not, little damage numbers floating around don't seem to register as activity. And frankly, the guns look better. Crossbows are always either unimpressive or laughable. And Bows these days either incorporate cumsly looking bucklers or jsut don't have the elegence they used to. But the guns, oh the guns, if there are only a few good-looking bows, then there are equally few bad-looking guns.
