I personally would aim for that one, not so much to avoid lol strength comments, but to try for the mastery bonus with a gem. Though the other might be straight up better dps depending on gear with a straight agility gem in it, even if it gives a strength bonus on the socket, which is probably why Frost listed it as an option.
