I actually prefer the gunshot sound. To be fair, my raid has expressed annoyance on a few occasions. But I find it comforting to hear my hunter doing something. Otherwise i wonder if i'm actually firing or not, little damage numbers floating around don't seem to register as activity.

And frankly, the guns look better. Crossbows are always either unimpressive or laughable. And Bows these days either incorporate cumsly looking bucklers or jsut don't have the elegence they used to. But the guns, oh the guns, if there are only a few good-looking bows, then there are equally few bad-looking guns.
