Indeed! XD
Worgen = win! I just love the Worgen freeman reference he used :)
Another reason why Worgen > Leper Gnomes... I MEAN Goblins! :P

Seeing this at the top of the page just made my day. That was hilarious and the Go Guy really did need his own movie.
Kudos to wowcrendor!

Wowcrendor...
Why do you know how to make me laugh no matter what mood I'm in? Worgen Freeman AND the Go Guy?
I remember the "How to Win at Raiding" video where Tim was first introduced (to us). Ah the memories...

Funny story: In the revamped Blackrock Depths dungeon, you get quests as you go along. There's a quest-giver right outside the prison who tells you to go kill the Warden, whatever her name is. If you talk to him again before turning in the quest, all he says is, "Go, go, go!"

The video was good, but the video plus THIS made my day.
Oni Stardust Dec 3rd 2010 12:13PM

Vladeon Dec 3rd 2010 12:22PM
WTB captions so that I can watch this at work and understand what's going on. Normally I can wait a few hours so I can watch at home but this looks hilarious.

Honestly, you need the voices. I'm sure you can imagine what each character might be saying, but subtitles here would be useless.
Ronin Dec 3rd 2010 12:26PM
Good concept, but not executed that well IMO.
The transition from "I'm going around giving (unwanted) advice to people, but they reject it (to their own detriment)" to "Slavering at the mouth yelling 'GO GO GO' " was too abrupt. He spent a lot of time building to that crucial point, but then just kind of skipped the actual transition between the two stages. What caused the change from giving advice, to raging that people didn't know how to run a dungeon? It could've been made clearer IMO.
I know Crendor is wildly popular. But that's just my constructive criticism.
roseclown Dec 3rd 2010 12:36PM
Mental Breakdown.
That WAS the transition. He was a in a dungeon, all the stupidity finally got to much, and his mind SNAPPED.
Bam, the go-guy was born. I think it was supposed to be sudden. :/
Scooter Dec 3rd 2010 12:51PM
It was made clear. Stupid people asking stupid questions will never become more intelligent or in this case better players. His advice would be put to better use by find people who need help instead of waiting for another idiot with a question.
Let me break it down for you. Wow Players can be separated into three majorities.
1. Noobs - A player with very little understanding and/or knowledge of the game or a person who wastes time adhering to unnecessary game mechanics.
2. Jerks - A person who thinks they know what they are doing and reacts poorly when instructed otherwise.
3. Casual/Experienced Gamers - People that don't need "Go Guy's" help
I would call Go Guy's quick transition reasonable. After all, the only people he can offer his advice to are people who either wont understand or wont listen at all.
Ronin Dec 3rd 2010 12:54PM
What stupidity, though? He's giving people advice, they don't accept it... suddenly he snaps in the middle of a dungeon? Too disjointed IMO.
Ronin Dec 3rd 2010 12:57PM
Ah, yes-- the beauty of the comment-ranking system. You too can down-rank someone for a civil post, simply because you have a different opinion than them!
Draelan Dec 3rd 2010 2:04PM
I'm going to have to respectfully disagree with you, Ronin. I don't think the transition was too abrupt. You must take the entire movie into mind as well. He starts off by answering stupid questions, an obvious source of frustration for him. When the troll appears and makes him realize he's just wasting his time, it solidifies his negative view on the idiots who have asked him questions previously, but also gives him hope and purpose as he heads out to find those with the intelligence to benefit from his wisdom. However, the extremely negative, and often times childish, response to his attempts to help gradually cause this hope to erode. Finally, while in the dungeon, it's made clear that they've been standing at the entrance for an unnecessarily long time. (Tank had to go get the right gear set. Mage went AFK. etc.) While this event on its own may not have been enough to cause him to snap, when piled on top of his dwindling opinion of others and his growing frustration and impatience, it becomes the proverbial straw that broke the camel's back. Thus, rather than attempting to give advice that he knows will just be ignored or rejected (Such as "You should be sure to grab the right armor set BEFORE queuing up,") he snaps and expresses his frustration and impatience in a simpler manner.
Go Go Go Go Go Go Go Go!
Artificial Dec 3rd 2010 2:38PM
The criticism seems off-base. Yes, suddenly he snaps. It's made perfectly clear what causes the change, you just don't like it. If you don't *like* the explanation, fine, say so, but when you instead say it isn't made clear when in fact it is, yeah, a lot of people are going to down rank the comment. Being of a differing opinion is one thing, being intentionally obtuse is another.
One could certainly argue that it's not realistic for people to "just snap" due to excessive aggravation, but it's a common comedic trope, and this is a comedic piece. If you expected an in-depth, serious character analysis in a Wowcrendor comedy short... one questions at this point whether you're being *intentionally* obtuse.
