I wish I had killed the Lich King at level, at expansion. I only really got into wow seriously about three months ago. That's a big regret of mine

I managed to kill ol' Arthas on the FINAL LOCKOUT before the shattering. I felt so happy...

I'm in a semi-social guild with a couple of 10 man raid teams. My team is the best of these, and we just recently got our drakes for everyone, including subs. There was this guy who just - well - fell through way back when we wiped for 7 weeks on PP and then for another 4-5 weeks on Sindra. If someone made a mistake, 75% of the time it was him. So he got replaced. There were no harsh words, but we could feel his disappointment whenever some achievement popped up in gchat. We're all friends, so it's been kinda hard. This thursday we got the last of our wrath achievements (earth, wind and fire) and when we talked about what to do on sunday - the last raid day before cata launch - we decided to invite him along for a full clear so he can finally get his kingslayer achievement. We might have to wipe a few times on a defile, but we kinda feel like we owe it to him.OT; My biggest regret in this expansion has been abandoning my horde alt. I've always been ally, so I figured I wanted to see the other set of quests. But then 4.0.1 hit, and I had to learn druid healing again :-/ At least I got to see the first 15ish levels or so...

I also killed Arthas not just on the final lockout, but the final NIGHT before the shattering! It was the last achievement I got before the patch went live, and all the more exciting for that.I regret not getting the raptor and tiger mounts and not starting the Scepter chain just one week earlier so that I could complete it.

I switched servers and guilds earlier this year as I was fed up with some of the BS in my previous guild (cliques, exclusionary practices, etc.). On my current server and guild we're still working on 10N LK. We can get him to around 40% or so in our best pulls and keep wiping to defile usually. I'm the OT so fortunately those wipes are usually not my fault. But it makes me feel better when I logged on my old server to prep the toons I wanted for transfer to see that my old guild still hasn't downed LK and I think they started on ICC way before my current guild did. Take that! :-p

Same. I started playing about one and a half years ago but only played for a little each day. After hitting endgame and discovering that I couldn't raid because of tight schedule, I felt so crushed that I couldn't kill the Lich King.

I needed to kill Arthas before the shattering. It was really bothering me. And so, it seems, many puggers on my realm.I'm proud to say he fell before Azeroth did.

I started playing WoW after Wrath came out. I am not sure of when i started exactly, but i was a level 23 running around ashenvale when my level 80 girlfriend was doing ToC10 with her guild. My first raid at 80 was Ulduar. After hitting 80 and seeing some content, i made a promise to myself that i would kill the LK before cataclysm was released.Last week, i killed him on my tank alt, for a bittersweet ending to the game for me. Until last night when my guild got together for one last attempt of ICC10 on our mains. My co-tank from the last week was confident we could do it again, and thanks to some magnificent performance we (my main included) were able to complete the instance, three-shotting the king.We had set several goals as a guild. My co-founders finally got one his Insane title, the other her Main (pally tank) LK kill, we completed undying and 8man naxx simultaneously, and generally had a great time together. Our only regrets were that we were unable to complete our herald of Ulduar gearsets (despite completing all the keeper HMs while farming the gear), not getting our rusted drakes (damn you kologarn and your left arm dying half a second after the body), and not getting our ZG mounts (which we farmed religiously).Luckily, regrets aside, we completed many of our goals and had fun doing it. All those nights laughing in vent, swapping playful insults and generally enjoying each others' company makes me glad that we were able to accomplish what we did, and even if we hadn't killed lichie, i'm sure we would have had just as much fun.
