Anyone know if the dailies had any better rewards in the beta. The +1 skill is a pretty great reward itself, but I would be pretty surprised if it stayed at only the hat and the pet. Even just some good vendor trash would be appreciated.

I have gotten +2 on the skillup for fishing.. this was after doing the daily 4 times. maybe it starts at +1 and climbs to higher values as you keep re-doing the daily.

So far I haven't gotten anything interesting. A couple water walking potions, a swim speed potion, and a ton of vendor trash (none of which sold for more than a few silver). It's only been a week and a half, but here's hoping there's some better stuff hiding or being added later...

Eddy, it doesn't increase if you keep doing them. Some of the quests simply award two skill points. Diggin' For Worms for Alliance and A Staggering Effort for Horde both award 2 fishing skill points when you complete them. The other quests all award 1 point. Why do these 2 award 2 points? No idea. Maybe they are considered harder/more tedious/more annoying?

Even though it's only been a few days, wowhead has collected nearly 40,000 loots. http://www.wowhead.com/item=67414#containsThe potions/elixir, the hat, the pet, and a bunch of worthless vendor trash. If there were anything good, odds are at least one of us would have captured it with wowhead looter. I'm guessing it will change on Tuesday. I did get one Cataclysm potion, but I figure they don't want to start handing out the really god stuff just yet.

I'm a bit disappointed at the loot from the new fishing dailies. Would have been fun if they added something new or maybe at least made it possible to get the small crocodile pets you could get from the TBC fishing dailies.
