I know this article was written before cataclysm launch, but I didn't see it until now. I've been leveling in my old raid spec and I haven't had any problems at all so far (about 60 quests into deepholm.) However, more and more of my MW procs go to heals.

Congratulations to Josh on the columnist job. I was surprised Elam of shaman on ramen didn't get it until I realized it's probably the same person.

@Rollo-Yea, the point of Focused Insight is to avoid needing to use those Maelstrom Procs on heals, as LB is your second hardest hitting activated ability. I find that shocking and throwing up a Healing Surge to top myself off works really well.
