The Queue: Day One

Yeah. That thing. The one connected with a Ghostcrawler drinking story. Ewwwwww.
Adam asks:
What the hell are Anemones?
In Vashj'ir, there are these Anemones things that live on the walls of part of the zone. You have to collect their gas/juices. I had absolutely no idea what they looked like until I came across this picture from Wowhead.
After looking them up on Wikipedia, they're like a predatory, flower-looking thing. Probably evil and infested by satanic desires.
Many people asked:
How do I get into Nespirah?
You can go in and wait for stuff to happen, or you can take the underwater horse over, which will automagically activate the quest givers. It's a little bugged, but it's doable.
For those who don't know what I'm talking about, this is a questing area you get to in Vashj'ir. You'll be there soon enough, if you aren't already.
Lysm asked:
Is the Vashj'ir quest achievement bugged?
It appears so. Vashj'ir is short by about 15 quests or thereabout.
Berix asked:
Can I fly in Azeroth without the expansion?
Nope. You need Cataclysm in order to fly in Azeroth.

What raids are there currently available and are ALL classic dungeons now heroics?
RogueJedi86 Dec 7th 2010 2:07PM
Only SFK and VC have heroic modes.

Was that a 'I'm going to hurry up and write a queue so i can go level my goblorgen' Queue?
: )
Veloxe Dec 7th 2010 2:47PM
I'm thinking it was more of a queue with one hand, level with the other, type of queue.
bep4815 Dec 7th 2010 2:57PM
yes. the proof is in the mistakes. and i quote:
"In Vashj'ir these are these Anemones things..."
also, the last question isn't italicized.
yes, i noticed these things and they bothered me severely.
Hal Dec 7th 2010 3:13PM
Goblorgen being the result of Ghostcrawler's other drinking story.

I'm cool with the brevity of this Queue. In fact, I hope the future holds a queue that answers everything with yes/no answers just for the lulz.

It is weird that Cataclysm flying training isn't in a Cataclysm zone. In BC flying+epic flying training was in a BC zone, and in LK Coldweather Flying was in a LK zone. Instead it's just sitting in the middle of Stormwind/Orgrimmar, where anyone without any expansion can see the skills but not train them.
trefpoid Dec 7th 2010 2:10PM
Actually, no, I don't have the expansion and the trainer doesn't show me anything to train. It's quite depressing.

Azeroth is the Cataclysm zone.
Justin Dec 7th 2010 2:37PM
It's Marketing. If you don't have Cata and can't fly in the Old World, and you see EVERYONE else doing it, aren't you going to seriously consider picking up Cata sooner rather than later?
RogueJedi86 Dec 7th 2010 2:38PM
I can go to Azeroth without Cataclysm, does that mean I have Cataclysm?
I meant more like Deepholme, Vashj'ir, Hyjal, Uldum, Twilight Highlands, etc., the zones you specifically need Cataclysm for.
RogueJedi86 Dec 7th 2010 2:42PM
Justin, you could still see them fly, you'd just need to get Cataclysm to train the flying in a Cataclysm zone. Like how training to fly in Outland let you fly in Northrend(after Cold Weather Flying). Or how you could do jewelcrafting outside BC zones, but you had to train them in BC zones. I'm sick as a dog today, sorry if I'm not making sense.
Sorry you're downvoting, just seemed weird that they didn't put the flying trainer in an expansion zone like the previous ones, since you do require the expansion to train it anyways.
Chamual Dec 7th 2010 2:43PM
Stormwind is the alliance hub for Cataclysm. Check the portals behind the keep.
videobobbo Dec 7th 2010 2:55PM
Seems like a good idea, actually, similar to how the faction capitals have Inscription trainers that can be seen even without Wrath. If they have the technology to make it so that someone without the expansion can't train anything that requires it, then why not make the trainers more accessible? I think the old design was a relic of their old technology and trainer options, more than anything, and with the changes made for Inscription in Wrath and well, pretty much everything in Cataclysm, it makes sense to do away with it, since there really isn't a design reason for it.
RogueJedi86 Dec 7th 2010 3:04PM
Good point videobobbo. I know you can train inscription without WotLK though. But good point on evolving technology. I concede on this back and forth I've been having. Have a nice day. :)

The weird part is you can buy old world flying at honor hold but you cannot buy it at any other major city. Which doesn't really matter now after the huge black friday like swarming around the flight trainer :) Thanks Blizz.
