"
I think people are blown away. I'm blown away, and I'm so jaded at this point." If you're looking for the big quote from this interview G4's Feedback did with Alex Afrasiabi (
WoW's lead world designer) and Tom Chilton (its lead designer), then look no further, my friends. Discussion topics include whether Blizzard is going to take over Harmonix (all signs seem to point to no), the attempt at parity between goblin and worgen starting zones, how it feels to step into these new zones as a player once you've taken off your designer hat, and the battle between design intent and scheduling.
If you're interested in hearing from the horse's mouth what Blizzard was thinking when it implemented Kezan or redesigned your favorite zone, here's your chance.

Alex: "Ooooooo shiny...."

Is this not liking someone because of what they did/did not do in a game? If so take a long look in the mirror. Hate leads to fear... you know the rest. WTB Gnomish troll ejector :)

Whoops that should go down there....

Quite frankly, your inflammatory and pointless attacks without context or in many cases relation to your main point, which was itself merely an attack on two people (one of whom isn't even in this video) means you should be voted down. You could have said "I've always dislike Alex Afrasiabi since the days of old FoH" and while it would still be relatively pointless, it wouldn't be inflammatory or griping. You could have said "I disliked Furor as the FoH leader because he did X" (X being whatever he did you dislike him for) and again, at least you would have bothered to have a point.

~~Just read your post, and your post is lame;
You give trolls a bad name;
Your wit is dull and you suck at flame;
You give trolls a bad name;
You give trolls.... a bad name;~~

@Rossi
Doesn't change the fact that all the other people he listed really do fit the bill

Hint: This is WoW Insider. Go back to Daily Kos where your "wit" will be appreciated.

This is funny because your rant about some other people being douches proves that you're the bigger douche by far.
:D

Hey... It's way past gray.
Eagan Dec 9th 2010 9:33PM
Gotta say. Hate them too.
Like you less.

Epic comment fail is epic.
Eagan Dec 9th 2010 9:35PM
Gotta say, I hate those two as well for some of the things they've done in the past.
I like you less than that, however.
carebear Dec 9th 2010 9:51PM
you're sure to get a balanced and healthy point of view regarding how cataclysm turned out by going straight to the people who made it
Tuhljin Dec 10th 2010 5:22PM
Compared to the trolls here, yes, yes you will.

Personally, I love the feedback pod cast, its always informative, the humor is great, and its always great to have an Intelligent conversation about video games.
Feedback, as well as Sessler's Soapbox (Adam's a Class-act) are two of my 3 favorite podcasts (The Other being the MMO-Report). I strongly suggest you set your iTunes to download those 3 podcasts, as they are sure to not disappoint.

Interesting video, insights from the game designers and actual game players too!

Gotta' love that "media offline" error message edited in-to the final render at 5:00... media 'peeps, always check back you stuff >.

Blown away? No, not hardly. I will say Hyjal and Vash'jir are huge improvements over Borean Tundra and the Fjord, though, but blown away? No. Deepholm has been pretty mediocre too, sadly, definitely a step down from the starting zones.
I'm also less than pleased with the current healing situation. Thanks to my gf not having Healbot set up, I've ended up healing all our guild runs in Cat so far. It wasn't so bad, but as soon as you hit 83...there goes mana efficiency.
Look, I don't care how difficult you wanted to make things, I should not have to be worried about going oom on a trash pull in a non-heroic dungeon. It's just not right, it's not fun, and it's not challenging. Waiting after every couple pulls to drink doesn't do anything other than drag things out.
I don't even want to know what healing a pug that can't follow the simplest direction would be like. ~.~

"Look, I don't care how difficult you wanted to make things, I should not have to be worried about going oom on a trash pull in a non-heroic dungeon."
I hereby nominate Kia for Quote of the Day.
Also gives me my golden opportunity to use my favorite line:
"Yeah Alex, what's up with that?"
Yeah, I know, I know. I'm just not sick of it yet. :)
