Any idea what's going on with Chaos Orbs? I've been hearing a lot of reports that they're not dropping at all, or are extraordinarily rare. Add to the fact that they're BoP, and crafting gear seems like it'll be a very tall order.

My guess is that they'll be something like the orbs during the raiding tiers of Wrath in as far as they'll start BoP for a while to give the crafters that can use them an edge in actually using them and then in a patch or two Bliz will make them tradeable.

I believe the same thing happened with frozen orbs at the beginning of WotLK IIRC.

I don't think that Frozen Orbs were BoP at Wrath's launch. And even if they were, they were also purchasable with Emblems, while Chaos Orbs aren't.

As someone with multiple engineers who was hoping to have them in new goggles at 81, I'm not happy about how hard it is to get Chaos Orbs.
