Some dudes are just born lucky.
Pere asked:
Any idea when the flight form models will be implemented for worgen and trolls?
I'm not sure why they're not in now, but you can bet on their being implemented in the next patch.
JT asked:
Have there been any new class quests added in Cataclysm, or have there been any taken out?
Each class has a quest at level 20 and 50 to take you through Shadowfang Keep and Blackrock Depths, respectively, rewarding you a weapon and a hat, also respectively. Most other class quests (like the warlock dreadsteed quests) were either removed a long time ago or removed for Cataclysm.
Alpha5099 asked:
Is there anyway to get Chaos Orbs before 85? I was hoping to get my characters their engineering goggles at 81, but that may not be possible.
Considering that Chaos Orbs are BOP (think Primal Nether), the answer is no.
Charlie asked:
If I purchased the regular edition of Cataclysm and used the key for my account to start playing, then later on came across a copy of the Collector's Edition, will I be able to use the key from the Collector's Edition to get the pet?
Yes, you can get the pet by putting in the Collector's Edition key, even if you have the normal edition.
So if I have the digital and I buy the Collector's, will that put the same as buying it twice for the same account or can I use one of the 2 licenses on the other account?
Basically, I want to upgrade my daughter's account, but I'd rather keep the pet for myself. I'm already upgraded digitally.
Though I haven't been able to confirm if it's still the case, you used to be able to get a regular edition code back if you upgraded your account to CE within 30 days. Call Blizzard Billing and they may be able to help.

@burntpizza, That is where the pvE vendors are, not the pvP...
I had been told Hall Of Legends/whatever alliance calls thier's where all the old PvP gear was would be where they are now. However they aren't there, so either they're adding them when the new season starts or as Bluegrass Geek pointed out, probably TB. (I had not thought of that possibility before but it makes perfect sense..)

I'm more worried by "he won't hear a word against it."
What makes him so sure btw? And it's not like it's that hard to disprove. Just have a level 78 character (and certainly there are lots in the guild / in general) try it.
Ice Dec 10th 2010 9:01PM
85 pvp gear is available when season starts.. which is 14th.
Piisuke Dec 12th 2010 6:45AM
Tell him to get his lvl 78 ate arse into Hyjal/Vashj'ir and start leveling. He'll see the errors of his stubborness soon enough. Note, you can get into the zones, you just can't get the quests until you are 80. It is a fact. If he thinks otherwise, I am sorry, but you're friend is kind of an idiot then.

Is there any chance worgen will get unique dps for (wolf instead of cat), same way as trolls got bat instead of bird?
Akhi Dec 10th 2010 3:18PM
Considering they already put a lot of work into worgen catform, and the expansion is already live, I would doubt it.
Matthew Dec 10th 2010 3:27PM
why trolls didn't get a toucan, I don't understand.
CrossEyed Dec 10th 2010 3:49PM
@Matthew, cause trolls HATE birds...
Brett Porter Dec 10th 2010 4:16PM
Well, technically they DO already have a unique cat form. But I see what you're getting at; that they should be wolves instead of wolfy cats. But worgen also got unique flight forms compared to tauren, night elf and troll; none are the same iirc.
JKWood Dec 10th 2010 6:23PM
I just rolled a Worgen druid, and my cat form is GORGEOUS. You cannot have it!

Any signs of The New Lich King (Bolvar Fordragon) in Cataclysm?
Quill2006 Dec 10th 2010 4:13PM
The guy on the loading screen for Northrend is Bolvar Fordragon; at least, he seems to be an on-fire Lich King, so I'm pretty darn sure he's Fordragon. Other than that, no. Not much was changed in Northrend; you can still go kill Arthas in ICC.

TIME PARADOX!

What reputation factions should i work on when I get to lvl 85?
Andostre Dec 10th 2010 3:13PM
All of them.
Basoiche Dec 10th 2010 3:32PM
Honestly, all of them are helpful, but the order depends on what you need. My bear tank is working on GoH and ER, GoH for the epic back that's BiS for raiding, ER for the head enchant.
Therazene is shoulder enchants, so I'd work on your Deepholm dailies. Find the head enchant for your spec and get that rep, then work on the others.
Thankfully, Therazene has a tabard this time... unlike SoH *shudder*
alpha5099 Dec 10th 2010 3:34PM
Andostre's being a bit of a smartass, but he is correct. Pretty much every faction has gear that should appeal to all the specs. Having looked over the factions, looking for gear for my resto/enh shaman and my prot warrior, there really haven't been any factions I could just entirely write off. Some factions do have some nice pre-heroic gear at 83, so you might want to see which factions can provide you with starter gear at Honored or Revered and prioritize them.
What niche are you filling? It'd obviously make sense to go after rep with the factions that provide your relevant arcanum. The Guardians of Hyjal provide the Intellect/Crit enchant, the Earthen Ring have Stamina/Dodge, the Ramkahen have Agility/Haste, and the Wildhammer or Dragonmaw supply Strength/Mastery. Of course, these are all Bind on Account, so if you have multiple characters you could have one grind a rep and share the arcanum.
Therazane's also going to be very important, as that'll be your source of shoulder inscriptions. At the moment, none of the Therazane enchants are BoA, so every character's gonna need to grind them out now. Thankfully unlike the Sons of Hodir, there's a Therazane tabard, which should help.
Cyrus Dec 10th 2010 3:37PM
Short answer? All of them.
Slightly longer answer: All faction quartermasters have something for every spec; look them up and see what you want. And everyone interested in any endgame content will want reputation with Therazane, who sells shoulder enchants for everyone (like the Sons of Hodir did) and rings. These are not bind on account, so I guess each alt will need rep with them. Other than that faction, you'll also need arcanums (that is, head enchantments), and there are four different ones for different roles, each sold by a different faction. (And these are bind on account, so once one toon has rep with any of these you don't actually need that rep on other toons.) The Guardians of Hyjal sell an arcanum all casters can use, and the Earthen Ring sells an arcanum for all tanks. The Dragonmaw Clan and its Alliance Equivalent, the Wildhammer Clan, sell an arcanum with strength and mastery, and Ramkahen sells an arcanum with agility and haste.
But remember, they've kept the tabard system from Wrath. So if you do enough dungeon runs, eventually you can get exalted with all of them.
Evandrial Dec 10th 2010 3:13PM
why is there a weekly cap on guild reputation?
Drakkenfyre Dec 10th 2010 3:19PM
Because Blizzard wants to slow down people from blowing thru the content.
Each expansion, you have a bunch of people who just grind it all out at once, and then complain there is nothing to do.
So they slow down what you can do.
That's why there is such a tiny cap on Justice Points (much lower, comparatively than Honor points used to have)
Limits on guild rep, limits on Cooking Awards from daily quests, limits on tons of things.
It's to slow people down so they don't build up a bunch of crap immediately, and get all the rewards/items immediately.
