Where precisely is the vendor for all the new level 85 PvP gear? I was looking around Orgrimmar and couldn't find one. Wasn't sure if I was missing something or just being thick and looking past it.
Also:
I'm having a longrunning argument with a guildmate over level requirements for Hyjal and Vash'jir. I have read everywhere that quests in both zones cannot be picked up unless you are at least level 80. He, however, is convinced that you can quest there at level 78, and won't hear a word against it.
So, please - settle this dispute, since I really do hate people arguing with me. :P

a friend of mine was 78 and wanted to go quest there, but he wouldn't get any quests. As soon as he hit 80, the Warchief Command quests appeared and he could quests in those zones. So, you gotta be 80 :D

been answered many, many, many, many times. In an early beta the level req was made to be 80, and this hasn't changed. No quests until 80.
Check back the queues, i know i've seen this question answered several times already.

Wowhead does say the quests can be started at 78, however my guildmate attempted to get the quests and was unable to do so. So yes, you have to be 80

You are correct. There's a blue post that I'm not in the mood to find again, but I linked in in a previous queue (check my posts history). They tuned them for 80-82, so it's roflstomp a 78 in questing greens. Hence, 80+

I, myself, know that the zones are 80+. It wasn't really a question to go on tomorrow's Queue, just a hope that the rest of the WoW population can prove that they ARE level 80+ only.
Maybe now he will admit defeat.

All the PvP rewards should be in Tol Barad, which acts as a combination of the Isle of Quel'danas and Wintergrasp: ie. it's both a quest hub and a PvP battleground zone.

@burntpizza, That is where the pvE vendors are, not the pvP...
I had been told Hall Of Legends/whatever alliance calls thier's where all the old PvP gear was would be where they are now. However they aren't there, so either they're adding them when the new season starts or as Bluegrass Geek pointed out, probably TB. (I had not thought of that possibility before but it makes perfect sense..)

I'm more worried by "he won't hear a word against it."
What makes him so sure btw? And it's not like it's that hard to disprove. Just have a level 78 character (and certainly there are lots in the guild / in general) try it.

Tell him to get his lvl 78 ate arse into Hyjal/Vashj'ir and start leveling. He'll see the errors of his stubborness soon enough. Note, you can get into the zones, you just can't get the quests until you are 80. It is a fact. If he thinks otherwise, I am sorry, but you're friend is kind of an idiot then.
