Hello, class, and welcome to Archaeology 101. Today, we'll show you how to get started in this profession, as well as where to go, what to do and how to do it. I know I'm not as dreamy as Indiana Jones, so I won't be expecting apples on my desk or eyelid tattoos. But I'll also not be interrupting class to run after Nazis, so I've got that going for me ... which is nice. I will be taking questions and comments from the chat room, however, which is after the break.

Robin, as a fellow druid (I think you've mentioned playing a druid, right?) you ought to know this, but you stated the opposite in the video several times.
Druids can gather in any form. Flight form is a little weird because you have to *land*. But you stay in form - gather, lift off, you're done. If something aggros on you while gathering, just lift off and you'll drop out of combat pretty quickly.

I am able to gather just fine in flight form, but when I try to survey, the game tells me I can't do it in pacified mode, or something like that. Are you able to actually survey in flight form without getting that error?

Robin is correct, you can't Survey in flight form. I setup a macro to cancel flightform and then Survey. Put it on the scroll wheel, works nicely.

Just spent 4 hours leveling up my first Archaeologist while listening to this guide. There was a patch today and my Archaeology stopped leveling up from digging at 89. Not sure if this is the new norm or what. I've dug at a few different sites now, no skill ups from digging. Might want to clarify this for new folks.
