Breakfast Topic: All I want for Winter Veil ...

So, aside from the traditional visits to Greatfather Winter (or Great-father Winter, if you visit that mall on the other side of town), what are your plans for the holiday? Are you going to PvP your way to achievement glory in Tol Barad? Are you going to spend the next couple of days wondering who the hell these Ogri'la people are, followed by another could of days lamenting about having to grind reputation with them? Or are you just totally devoid of
If you're going to be spending the next couple weeks working on your Merrymaker achievement, be sure to check out Allison Robert's OverAchiever guide to the Winter Veil holiday.

Dude. I admire your sense of organization and focus but clearly the article was about fun things you might do over x-mas break/winter veil. I'm sorry you won't have much time to scratch your ass let alone play wow. I will be extra festive just for you :)

Ouch, that schedule is tight... I myself have about six weeks off starting tomorrow. :)

I'm working 40+ hours most of this month and I still manage to remain in a festive mood! Welcome to real life. It's what you make it.
Also if you consider spending time with your girlfriend "work" because it detracts you from WoW, you may want to reevaluate your priorities.
Nick Dec 15th 2010 3:02PM
@Sait.
I posted just to show how busy the festive period is for those in education and employment, not to bitch or whine, just to let those of you that do get to spend lots of time with your bf/gf/mr/mrs whatever how lucky you really are.
I don't consider spending 3 days of the holiday with her work, I consider spending each and every of the other days without her work.
Perhaps my original post wasn't clear in it's intentions.
Saitenyo Dec 15th 2010 4:11PM
Ahh my apologies then. The phrasing of your original post made me think you were complaining that you had little time to play WoW/do the holiday stuff because of this massive list of things you had to do instead (hanging with girlfriend included).
Nick Dec 15th 2010 4:31PM
No need to apologise, I was the one unclear. The lack of wow time annoys me too of course, but WoW does come 2nd to real life stuff, such as my 3 year old niece's carol service tomorrow night, that should be a welcome break.
Saitenyo Dec 15th 2010 6:06PM
Yeah, I think we can all agree it would be nice to spend less time working, and more time with loved ones -and- WoW. ;)

All I want for Winter Veil is the achievement, so I can add another purple dragon to my collection. ^_^ Here's to hoping all goes well for other achievement-hunters out there.

"Holy typos, Batman!"
Fixed that for you. :P And the article had, as far as I can tell, one typo...

All I want is for people to understand that Garrosh is a good leader. He doesn't deserve all that hate he's gotten in the past year. Folks, please let Garrosh know that someone loves him and give him a great big /hug. We all know he needs it.
Noyou Dec 15th 2010 8:33AM
I'll let him know personally as I plan on being one of the first on my server do do the "new" FTA and pop him with last years BB rifle :) Happy Holidays :)

Really?
"Serve the Horde or be crushed underneath it!"
Sounds to me like Thrall picked the one guy who could never make it long term. I guess he wants his job back. :D
