I hoard simply b/c I refuse to pay other people the ridiculous prices they are currently charging. Plus the prices will go down, and I'm not THAT lazy.

The prices aren't ridiculous, they are simply a product of supply vs demand.
Demand is huge right now, and supply is hugely low, so prices shoot up.

Why don't you sell your goods at those ridiculous prices and hoard gold pieces instead?

I... you... ugh, this article is trying to help people like you. If you sell now, *YOU* ARE GETTING PAID THOSE RIDICULOUS PRICES. If you buy the same goods back again later, YOU *WON'T BE PAYING* THOSE RIDICULOUS PRICES.
It has nothing to do with being lazy. It's free money.
Is this just a lost cause for those who don't already get it? o_O

This is the *entire* point of the article. Sell the mats now while you can make a killing, then buy back in later when the prices are sane. Perhaps you're new to the concept of shorting.
