I'm much the opposite. I've known quite a few people who play Alliance, including the person who introduced me to the game, but I've never created an Alliance character.Just recently some RL friends of mine became interested in the game. I told them to play whatever they want, but not to talk to me about it if they play Alliance. It's insane because I know that the people who play Alliance are the same people who play Horde. There are 12 million subscribers. While I'm sure there isn't a 50/50 split, the sheer number of people playing pretty much guarantees that there isn't much difference between people who play the Horde and people who play Alliance. That's what I know though, intellectually. That doesn't change the fact that I hate the Alliance. I hate it more than anything else in game or in my actual life. I hate it with a pure, white-hot, unquenchable hatred that I've never felt for anything yet and am unlikely to feel for anything else.It may be because it is entirely virtual, invented, and when you get down to it, doesn't really exist, that I feel free to hate it as much as I do.
