There is "fair" and there is good game design.Something can be "fair" and still be bad game design or at least game design that is less profitable for Activision shareholders. It could be argued that allowing people to buy gear and ingame advantage for either ingame gold or real life $ is "fair." One could argue that allowing only the best 100 players in the world to kill LK is "fair" but it is clearly a bad financial decision.Similarly, I think that rewards for only large guilds will push the game to only have large guilds. Which will certainly negatively impact my enjoyment and I think it will negatively impact Activision's profits.
