Oh Alchemists - I'm so sorry

Don't be, they've got us Blacksmithers by the balls regarding Truegold :'(I need to make more alchemist friends

It was one of the things I most looked forward to with this expansion. A unique alchemy mount that not even every alchemist would have.Ohwell, for 125k it can be yours too.

I'm not too worried. If I luck out and get this recipe, then the first drake I produce will be put on the AH at a significant profit. I don't mind someone else having the drake too if it can make it easier to pay for my own.

Sorry? Why would you be sorry? This is the best thing to happen to Alchemy all expansion.Just imagine how much people will PAY for this winged beauty!/goblinlaugh

Um, yeah. I have a couple of alchemists, and I can't for the life of me figure out why anyone would think this is a bad thing. This is absolutely terrific.

Alchemy pays for itself, many times over, and is relatively painless to level. Don't feel sorry for alchemists, we don't need perks! Not like the poor engineers...Vial of the sands is really an *archaeology* perk, pure and simple. You need 450 skill and a crazy amount of luck to even see the recipe for it.And archaeology currently seems the nastiest, most tedious grind in the game. Well, ok, maybe not 'insane in the membrane' levels, but in the same ball park.I reckon anyone with half-decent AH skills can make whatever silly price this will end up selling for (probably only 50k-ish when a few people have recipe & non-vendor mats have calmed down a bit) in far less time than it would take to level archaeology & get some RNG love, but go ahead if that's your thing, after all, someone needs to do that hard work;)

I'm not an alchemist but I wouldn't be happy about it if I was.You just got the chopper instead of the gyrocopter. I'd much prefer the gyrocopter as a unique perk, but I can understand if you don't care and would rather have a payday.

I think it's awesome for them. I've been hoping for ages that flying carpets would become useable for everyone, too, because many people love them and I'd make some money at it on my tailor. And the biggest (remaining) reason my secondary is leveling engineering is so she can make a motorcycle for my main, and then maybe give or sell some to friends. Craftable mounts should be unrestricted.

yeah, well the gyrocopter didn't cost 10k gold to make.
