Okay, okay, really showing my age here. But the picture didn't remind me of an ipod commercial. It immediately reminded me of the box cover of the board wargame Panzerblitz.

This happened to me when I tried to AFK-fly a straight line in beta from Hyjal to Ratchet. Somewhere in the middle of Azshara I walked back to my PC just in time to see the screen go black, then crazy, then black again, and then got dismounted. I bubbled as I fell and survived, but it was the creapiest place I've been in-game. I could only see when I consecrated or Holy Wrathed.
...I shoulda dropped a campfire.
