The lack of +hit on plate items is disheartening indeed. It does look like fury warriors with Titan's Grip cannot get even close to hit cap, therefore I would very much like to know how much +hit is acceptable before one should start thinking about branching into +strength, +haste and +crit.

You should try Arms, it's easier to gear for and does competitive DPS.Here's my build right now:http://www.wowhead.com/talent#LGMcfR0RurkcZhb0b:McR0MR0kzI've macroed Victory Rush and Heroic Strike together for convenience.Priority is Rend - Colossal Smash - Mortal Strike - Overpower - Heroic StrikeUse Thunderclap to refresh Rend unless it could break CC as the damage is better, Bladestorm if you get rage starved on a boss and Deadly Calm is on CD.If you want, you could swap out Rapid Charge for Resonating Power if you don't use charge as much, for a slight DPR increase on TC. There really aren't many good Glyphs for Arms DPS, but it performs well so you can't complain too much :p

The hit cap is something close to 5000, so it's going to be a while before you're there. You need at least the 8% mark to make your specials hit (can't remember what that number is atm).Natsumi has the right idea though. If your hit rating or gear isn't up to the task, arms is a viable alternative.Granted, it's not as cool as swinging 2 humongous 2handers, but you won't feel as gimped.

Thanks! I'll give it a spin. Been looking for a guide to arms warrior for a while now. But here's to hoping fury warriors will one day be viable.

As a Fury Warrior, here are your priorities:Hit to 8% and Expertise to 26. After you hit those two "caps," you want to prioritize Strength > Hit to DW cap (27%) > Crit > Haste = Mastery. In practical terms, this means that you'll probably be adding as much extra Strength to your gear as you can with gems and enchants (assuming that you can hit the Hit/Exp "caps" with gear alone), while you reforge all of your available Haste and Mastery to Hit.Scarequotes on "caps" because these are softcaps, not hardcaps. 8% Hit is a softcap: after that point, your specials will not miss, but your white attacks (autoattacks) will. Additional Hit past 8% is still excellent for Fury because of Dual Wield; the hardcap is 27%, at which point you will never miss an attack of any kind and any extra Hit is wasted. 26 Expertise is also a softcap: after that point, you can still be parried. However, because you should always be attacking from behind what you're trying to hit, in this case extra stats (Exp) beyond the softcap *is* a waste.

You can make the hit cap through heroic gear (and a couple BoE epics if you can, but not necessary). I am still missing boots and cloak from Lost City (using blue ilvl 333 quest rewards Cloak of the Red Flight and Treads of Terror, both from Twilight Highlands questing), bracers from HoO (using normal Alphas), and with DW Foe Reaper, I have 25.81% hit and expertise capped. Did BH boss last night and hit 12k (DKs whipped everyone at 17k+ lol). I would like to test further if hit cap is even necessary, but Archeology is like crack....
