No reason in particular. I went with Night Elf for his love interest because I play one--I used my husband's rogue so it made sense to me.

As for the human females, I put out a call to my friends to bring their female alts to the bar to ignore me. Most of them brought bank alts who bank from Stormwind, so it stands to reason that they would be human.
