I would think Queen Azshara would be the one that leaps to mind when I hear "New boss in Vashj'ir", not animal gods. Did I miss something in my rush to get to 85?
phoenixblight Dec 29th 2010 7:14PM
yeah like Blizz saying Azshara will not be in this expansion.
JP Dec 29th 2010 9:10PM
Maybe something related to Nespirah and L'ghorek, since they are Animal Demigods.
ninjivitis Dec 30th 2010 12:14AM
The third animal god is probably the kraken.
Tunahead Dec 30th 2010 5:18AM
The Kraken stirs. And ten billion sushi dinners cry out for vengeance.
yunkndatwunk Dec 30th 2010 9:20AM
yes, she needs to be a high level boss, her and then deathwing should be the two toughest

Now, when you say "Hyjal fully healed", does that include the world tree? will we finally find out if simply letting the tree heal itself will restore the immortality of the night elves?
Al Dec 29th 2010 7:24PM
I thought the Dragons sanctified Teldrassil for the same result.
Mr. Tastix Dec 29th 2010 8:09PM
The dragons have to "bless" a new world tree for the night elves to be granted immortality, they never did this with Teldrassil. Nordrassil was blessed but subsequently sacrificed to defeat Archimonde.
Personally, I would think that renewing the world tree wouldn't necessarily bring back the night elves immortality, it'd just bring back the tree. I assume the dragon aspects would have to bless the tree again.
arcaneterror Dec 29th 2010 8:20PM
At the end of Stormrage, Teldrassil does get blessed. However: Nozdormu wasn't there, so they may me mortal yet.
Eldoron Dec 29th 2010 8:30PM
Ofc Teldrassil is a failed world tree. It's in saltwater >
Phort Dec 29th 2010 11:55PM
Well considering Nozdormu IS the Aspect of Time itsself, it might be benificial to the aspect of immortality for him to be present
Rob Dec 30th 2010 7:05AM
Yeah that's just what need, prissy, IMMORTAL night elves.
Eli Dec 31st 2010 4:09PM
Yeah, cause night elves are prissy AT ALL in lore...right? Just cause everyone thinks they look pretty in game, it doesn't mean that they were the pansies of the alliance in lore.
ElrithCC Dec 31st 2010 6:15PM
Not only did the Dragons bless Teldrassil and the Night Elves are immortal again, but the starting zone quests in Teldrassil now tell you all about it too.
Teldrassil is healed once and for all even in a climactic battle now where Elune fills you with power herself that lets you walk on water, blast enormous blasts of AOE power, and suck all the surrounding shadow enemies to you. You're basically a vessel for Elune's power and you face a final remnant of Xavius spirit and destroy him once and for all, cleansing Teldrassil before you finally move on to Darkshore.

cool i cant wait
Dril Dec 29th 2010 7:13PM
Calling it right now: boat racing will go the way of the dod...dance studio.
SR Dec 29th 2010 7:43PM
It won't be hard to implement, since we already have something similar with Brewfest.
Dance studio? I still think it's just a bad joke/pun gone viral. I mean... the amount of effort that needs to be put in is just ridiculous.
Henrah Dec 29th 2010 7:47PM
@SR...
Please go check the features on the back of your Wrath of the Lich King box, then get back to me.
Ringo Flinthammer Dec 29th 2010 7:50PM
Gambling on races in Shimmering Flats has actually been planned since the original alpha. Thousand Needles racing went the way of the dance studio before the dance studio was ever announced.
