The idea is to bridge the gap between unimportant data and a overuse of theory crafting. like the reader above said they need numbers they can understand and look to columns like this to better explain the intense number crunching that EJ uses in there posts. The answer isn't to abandon all numbers, but to make them accessible to most people. We look to experts to explain in simple language including examples what we need to know.
