New Year's Eve is a time to party, and what better way to party than to dress up like Greatfather Winter's helpers and send 50 of your fellow players to an early grave? So the <
It came from the Blog> family of guilds will be getting together Friday night to get small. Here are the particulars:
- When: Friday, Dec. 31 at 10 p.m. EST (7 p.m. PST, 8 p.m. server time)
- Where: Meet at the Winter Wondervolt near the flightpath in Orgrimmar on Zangarmarsh (US-PvE-H)
- Who: Any Horde player, level 10 or higher
- What: To get With a Little Helper from My Friends for as many people as possible
- How: Ask Robinella or any member of <Blogling> for an invite, if you are not already in one of our guilds
We'll match up players within the appropriate levels to suit up and enter battlegrounds together. The event will be streamed, as usual, and we'll have an event chat channel to coordinate.
Please join us!
Please join us on Zangarmarsh (US-PvE-H) in <It came from the Blog>. Guild ranks of Blog Lurker or above can invite, so /whisper Robiness or any online member. You are all welcome as long as you play by our simple rules -- basically, don't be a funsucker! Visit the guild FAQ for more details.

Awww... that might be a bit tough if you have too many people. The best way to get that achievement is to spam run Alterac Valley, and just help support as much as you can from behind the lines as much as possible.
Wintergrasp used to be the absolute best place, but obviously that won't work anymore, even for 75-85's. As far as tol barad, probably just depends on if your server is win-trading.
Just checked the zanagarmarsh forums, and grats! You guys are not win-trading. This means you'll get tons of HK's in Tol Barad, so if you are max level, that would probably be your best spot for finishing that achievement.
p.s. Even if you sit in the queue for an hour, it is still better to do Alterac Valley than any random, b/c in AV you can seriously hide out in so many places or fire spells from ranged while you rack up HK's. AB/WSG/EOTS fugettaboutit.

Id love to participate in an event like this but I fear I've never been very good at pvp...I fear id be more of a nuisance than any help...

So nice to see the "It came from the Blog" still kicking. I rolled on Zangamarsh just to help start that Guild and it became my main. Good memories!

@Vael'lokk We're just looking for 50 HKs, which really isn't that big of a goal. So warm bodies are win! You are welcome to join us. :)

Pyro's newbie pvp guide:
-If you are a class that can heal, and you know how to heal even a little bit, then stay as far away from the enemy as possible, and heal your allies. Just keep casting heals even if people are topped off.
-If you are a ranged dps class with a pet, send your pet in and use every stun or snare he has, while keeping yourself as far away as possible. And do as much of your rotation as you can on the enemy closest to you.
-If you are a ranged dps class without a pet, just do your best to freeze, stun, interrupt, sheep, silence whoever is closest.
-If you are a tank class, and have any experience tanking, what you do is pick someone on the other team and just do your best to annoy the crap out of them. Use stuns, silences, snares, anything you can use. Also, use every single tanking and survivability cooldown you can at all times.
-If you are a melee dps class... good luck. You're going to die. A lot. And probably not help your team that much. So try to fit one of the other roles if you possibly can. Okay, one suggestion if you are a rogue: Sap. Just sap like crazy. Use Ambush if someone is about to die. Other than that just sap, because even with better survivability in cataclysm, rogues are still squishy as hell.
-when all else fails... RUN THE HELL AWAY. Seriously, I'm not even kidding. Escaping a battle with like 49 hit points is actually kind of exhilarating.

This achievement was a nightmare as a feral druid, as soon as you shift to a feral form it drops the buff. I had to run around in groups and just do my best to root/cyclone etc. Healing/offensive abilities just aren't possible due to the high mana cost/low damage output :(
For anyone who was in those bg's with me, I appologise for not contributing much...

looks like a fun read.
