The point about Varian being the "Garrosh of the Alliance" is interesting.I've noticed an odd parallel between the leaders of the Horde and the Alliance. Whereas Thrall was peace-seeking and did not wish for war, Varian seems to heavily desire it. The successors to these leaders, Garrosh and Anduin respectively, are exactly the opposite. Anduin seeks peace, Garrosh seeks war. It will be interesting to see how the Horde/Alliance dynamic changes when their leaders have completely changed from the ones we've known since the beginning of World of Warcraft.

Anduin ruled since WoW's release. His father came and ruled afterwards.Thrall ruled since WoW's release. Garrosh came and ruled afterwards.See how it goes?

Anduin's rule as a child was before his tremendous growth during The Shattering. He is now more desirous of peace than ever before.
