He doesn't do an AoE ability. The healer just has to IMMEDIATELY stop the magic DoT, and nobody but the tank will ever take damage, other than during the grip (which if healing for is useless), and his final %s AoE, which yea you want to heal for but its easy by that point.

Its an easy achievement. I got it the first time I downed the boss. I was healing.
