That is probably one of the coolest (or.. you know.. hottest..) screenshots of old Deathy yet!

Now, noone can say he is not BADASS!

I'm still trying to figure out how ol' Deathy did my main in. I don't recall being dead, the sky going red or anything like that - yet I have the achievement? Hmm...maybe some weird glitch. Oh well.

Still kinda bummed though...would have loved seeing............THIS!

I didn't see him, either. I flew over the border to Twilight Highlands and instantly died. My corpse ended up halfway up a mountain in the ocean zone-- I'd tried to enter from the west but was too far south-- and my spirit was in the Swamp of Sorrows; even if I could get up to my body without a ghost gryphon it was half a continent away.

I believe they changed it to be zone-wide. It happened to me to Uldum too. Took the port from Org then after the loading screen to Uldum, I get the achievement before he sets the place on fire. =/

I was doing archaeology in Wetlands when everything suddenly turned red. I finished my dig, turned around... and died. Never even saw him. :(

Gotta agree with Dawt, getting burned myself Deathwing is really scary when he spews fire at you like in this pic.

Nice screenshot!

I got crispified by this dude a couple days ago... saw the screen go red, had just enough time to think "Crap, I'm gonna die, ain't I?" before I bit the dust and the achievement popped.

I actually felt rather lucky to tilt the camera up upon my death and see the HUMONGOUS dragon soaring in an almost lazy manner over my corpse... so many people have reported dying in his fire yet never actually seeing the beast, so I feel honored to have actually had his gargantuan form filling my screen for a full minute or so. A pity that this laptop is rather touchy about screen captures... ah well.

I have experienced TWICE now on the same char, seeing the sky turning red and nothing happened to me. No death, no achievement and no sight of Deathwing :(

I'm pretty sure Deathwing doesn't like me... *sniffle*.

There's a few places where the sky goes red, completely unrelated to Deathwing. For example in the last fight in Crucible of Carnage, or when you finished the Westfall questline etc.

So maybe that's what you've seen :)

I've had this too - and apparently completely unrelated to quests or anything as far as I can tell. Annoying =/

I was in Uldum as well, and had the sky turn red. I didn't hear a shout or see Deathwing, but there were flames all around me.

Except when I ran into them, nothing happened. Not even campfire damage. :/

This really does raise the question of how in the name of the Light we are going to tank THAT?

I'm a little disappointed that I have been in 3 zones that have seen Deathy's "purifying" fire, and have actually danced in the flames trying to get killed, but I seem to always be too late, since I never actually die or get the achievement. Either that, or my hunter is impervious to fire ...
