Well, that depends on what you think of as details. If you're thinking of graphics, sure, WoW isn't exactly top-notch. Which is fine, it means that my crappy old laptop can run it.
However, blizzard do make a lot of 'unnecessary' details in all of their games. All the little items that add flavor, and then something like this.
