Is it possible that this is the start of Undead Paladins. As somebody who was so involved in using the light in life, maybe she is still able to use it or a corrupted version of it in death. This isn't too far fetched as Undead Priests are similar.

though blizz said that Forsaken priests channel the same light that a human would and that it burns them and causes them inmense pain when they heal you or cast smite. So I dunno about that being corrupted light, but Forsaken pallies would be so damn badass!

Well, if you can have priests of shadow, no reason you can't eventually have shadow paladins. Alas, death knights kinda already fill the "anti-paladin" niche in WoW.
