Patch 4.0.6 being deployed on PTR servers

As for the changes themselves, right now, indications are that they are a lot of the tooltip changes and other minor tweaks prompted by the last month of hotfixes. Remember that just because a change goes up with a hotfix, a lot of times, the in-game wording won't be able to be updated until a client patch.
And just to be super-clear: This isn't patch 4.1. There are no indications that there are any new raids or anything else with this patch.
More throughout the day as we get it in!

"Lorewise", Forsaken are the former humans of Lordaeron so anything that fits humans should in turn fit Forsaken. I don disagree with your idea that each race has a certain ideal class that fits it the best, but that's not to say that two races can't share an "ideal class".
IMO, there's no other class that fits the Forsaken mentality as well as the Warlock. Warlocks are by nature brutal, selfish, cut throat power hungry monsters. The Forsaken are brutal, selfish, cut throat power hungry zombies.
That said, Shadow Priests are awesome, but I've been having a lot of mana issues as I've been leveling mine. I keep asking around to see if I'm doing something fundamentally wrong, but all evidence seems to be that its somewhat par for the course.

Mechanics-wise, there's no reason for a Forsaken to be a warlock. Cannabilize does nothing that Soul Harvest and Life tap do not, and we already have Underwater breathing.
Because of the change to Cannibalize, I'd say make your Forsaken a Mage, Priest, or any other class that is lacking in mana/health regen.

You're welcome.

Any chance they'll ever implement the Troll flight forms?
Drakkenfyre Jan 6th 2011 12:23PM
Not likely. I bet that's being saved for 4.1.

is 4.01 when they'll address the changes to the 3 hunter specs?
sort of sad to see surv so far ahead of the other two. i dont' really wanna spend my raid spamming explosive shot so i'm hoping to see the specs align in performance asap.

Thankfully.
I was hoping for a patch soon to fix alot of the little bugs I have noticed. I figured they would take their time, as they had alot of work to do, and figured they would just release 4.1. Good to know they will release a patch before then, and won't wait so long.

I hope this patch fixes the female Worgen chicken laugh and all the Worgen NPCs with the screwed up sound files and textures! And those female Worgen NPCs with that screwed up texture!!

Is it me or does this patch nerf healing in general "to the ground"?

Combat rogues rejoice!
>> Main Gauche (Mastery) now provides a chance to deal an attack for 75% of main-hand damage. This attack can trigger Combat Potency.
Revealing Strike now increases finisher effectiveness by 35% (45% glyphed), up from 20% (30% glyphed).

Where did you get this information on Combat rogues?
