They have the same problem with a "Hero"-class that Bioware will have with the Jedi/Sith in the Star Wars MMO. They're supposed to be badass, but if they are people will either a) All roll hero-classes or b) QQ.

Blizz chose to flatten DK's to the same level as all the other classes to shut people up or make them not roll as many DK's. I think it's working though, turns out that both druids and hunters have passed DK's now, kicking them down to #4 on the popularity meter, with paladins still reigning #1.
