Seriously. All I see in this image is Jaina going, "ENHANCE. ENHANCE. ENHANCE."
Daynthebold asked:
Does gemming and enchanting your gear affect the dungeon finder's ilevel check? Or is it just the basic ilevel of the untouched item?
Gemming and enchanting have no effect on your item levels, so they don't affect your dungeon finder average either.
Metalupis asked:
Can you be working on more then one rare/epic in archaeology at one time? For instance, if I'm working on a blue dwarf item, do I need to finish it before a blue/purple shows up in trolls or night elf?
You can have multiple rare/epic projects active simultaneously, just not for the same race.
Bloodthorn asked:
Where are the mailboxes in Uldum?!
There's a mailbox in Ramkahen. How else could the tol'vir get their issues of Cat Fancy?
Richtoad asked:
What would it be like to stand there day after day waiting for someone to take your quest? And then taking constant loans at the bank to make sure you have enough gold to pay players?
Sounds like any other service job to me.

Why have we not seen any of the Dwarf architecture found in the Twilight Highlands outside of the Twilight Highlands? Is it because they're from the Wildhammer Clan?
Birddrz Jan 7th 2011 11:10AM
Because the Wildhammers in the Highlands are hill Dwarves and we have only really ever seen mountain Dwarves and mountain Dwarf architecture.
HHUK Jan 7th 2011 11:11AM
I'm guessing this is the case.
Dwarves usually live in big underground constructs resembling Ironforge. The Wildhammer Dwarves were forced out of Grim Batol and forced to settle elsewhere. Eventually they'd have to build some regular style houses if they couldn't find a big mountain to tunnel into.
Obeyfez Jan 7th 2011 11:17AM
You do see some similarities in architecture at Aerie Peak in the Hinterlands - stone griffin statues.
What I find interesting is that the Wildhammer dwarves build Grim Batol, which looks to be the spitting image of Iron Forge (save a few minor details) but then when they abandoned Grim Batol, they took on a whole new architecture style in Aerie Peak and in Twilight Highland.
Eldoron Jan 7th 2011 11:42AM
Obeyfez: it's in the lore that after Grim Batol they never wanted to live inside mountains ever again, hence the Aerie Peak-ish approach.

If you want to know what it's like to be a quest giver, and you're Horde, go to Hillsbrad and do the "Welcome to the Machine" quest given by High Executor Darthalia at Southpoint Gate.
Actually, seriously, do that quest. It's a scream.
chrissie Jan 7th 2011 11:14AM
Agreed. It'll leave you with a new appreciation for quest givers everywhere.
Ruthar Jan 7th 2011 11:17AM
I laughed so hard during that quest! I could hardly believe what was happening on screen. Even all the follow-up quests are equally hilarious. Furthermore, Hillsbrad is a truly epic zone for the Horde, make sure you go out and do it if you have a chance. Pure gold!
Eldoron Jan 7th 2011 11:50AM
Buuut... quest givers are just a bunch of data and pixels ;)

@Eldoron: You're just a bunch of protons, neutrons, and electrons. Try not to be an atomist. :p

That quest made me laugh out loud. Hillbrad questing is a riot. My little undead priest still got the shovel in her backpack... just for when more humans need rescuin...
Sunaseni Jan 7th 2011 1:12PM
Forever will I remember Kingslayer Orkus. I was his friend. And he was mine.
/salute
bluerobin427 Jan 7th 2011 3:38PM
I can't recommend Hillsbrad enough either. Sadly, though, I didn't realize you could use the shovel on that quest until I was turning it in so all those humans got away...
Delshay Jan 7th 2011 5:20PM
I had a toon named Dumass before it was cool.. I loved the quest and I am a Hero of the Horde, they told me so Orkus is my Homie!
Hory Jan 7th 2011 11:43PM
@Artificial: And even those are made up of sub-atomic particles (leptons, quarks, bosons etc). :)

Since Blizzard is adding a daily quest hub to Hyjal (presumably for Guardians of Hyjal rep), what are the odds that they'll be adding daily quest hubs for Earthen Ring and Ramkahen at some point in the future as well?
Zheo Jan 7th 2011 11:12AM
I would imagine so; here's why.
They're adding a Hyjal raid (Sulfuron Spire) in 4.1 AND adding more Hyjal dailies. So, 4.1 is kinda heavy on Hyjal. I would imagine when they introduce new Vash'jir raids Earthen Ring will get new dailies as well. Kind of fits with the storyline they're producing, as well as phasing.
Valorum Jan 7th 2011 11:31AM
there is supposed to be a new underwater 5-man too. maybe they'll add earthen ring dailies with it....
(cutaia) Jan 7th 2011 11:44AM
Good point, Zheo. Kind of like how they added Argent Tournament dailies with ToC.
Starlin Jan 7th 2011 12:04PM
I bet you 5 bucks it's a whole new faction or maybe 2 new factions. Blizzard loves adding a new faction with every content patch. Earthen ring and Guardians can already easily be grinded out with tabards.
