Seriously. All I see in this image is Jaina going, "ENHANCE. ENHANCE. ENHANCE."
Daynthebold asked:
Does gemming and enchanting your gear affect the dungeon finder's ilevel check? Or is it just the basic ilevel of the untouched item?
Gemming and enchanting have no effect on your item levels, so they don't affect your dungeon finder average either.
Metalupis asked:
Can you be working on more then one rare/epic in archaeology at one time? For instance, if I'm working on a blue dwarf item, do I need to finish it before a blue/purple shows up in trolls or night elf?
You can have multiple rare/epic projects active simultaneously, just not for the same race.
Bloodthorn asked:
Where are the mailboxes in Uldum?!
There's a mailbox in Ramkahen. How else could the tol'vir get their issues of Cat Fancy?
Richtoad asked:
What would it be like to stand there day after day waiting for someone to take your quest? And then taking constant loans at the bank to make sure you have enough gold to pay players?
Sounds like any other service job to me.

Dont be surprised if one of the content patches focuses on the Ramkahen specifically and their ties with the creatures/gods from AQ. Blizzard has mentioned they werent happy with how they added in the Azjul-Nerub zones and the tacked on Anub'arak encounter in ToC.
I dont know the specifics of the lore between the Ramkahen, Tol"vir, AQ races and AN races, but I know Wowinsider did some articles on how they tie together.
Uldum, and its close proximity to AQ, would make for a GREAT zone to add in a daily quest hub along with a new raid.

@Narshe
Perhaps that's what the "new" AQ zone is for? I doubt that they would have added a separate zone for AQ just for people flying over it, they could have just added it on to Silithus if that was the case.

There are already 2 daily quests for Ramkahen, they are just not in Ramkahen
Aarkan Jan 7th 2011 11:08AM
Unfortunately theres no mailbox in uldum currently. That's in 4.0.6 unless they hotfixed that in.
naughtyzoot Jan 7th 2011 11:18AM
It's there now. Right outside the Pharoah's hut in Ramkahen...finally :D
rhorle Jan 7th 2011 11:20AM
Ramkahen now has a functional mailbox. What can King Phaoris do for you? http://us.battle.net/wow/en/blog/1232869
In the January 4-5 section

Oh sure, it's there AFTER I finished leveling there. LOL
Dreyja Jan 7th 2011 1:14PM
so is that right next to the spot where you zone in and has become a MASSIVE gank-fest on my server?

Lore-wise, what will happen to Neferset City after the events of the Ramkahen storyline in Uldum? Will it be occupied by the Ramkahen? Are there any tol'vir left, or did they destroy them all? Who controls the colossi now, or did they just fall over dead?
N-train Jan 7th 2011 12:17PM
You're only going to get speculation, as I haven't seen or read anything to suggest Uldum will be progressed in a later patch, just Hyjal and possibly Vashjir. I assume the Ramkahen will take over the city, or put in place some Neferset loyal to them, however the whole thing is really not clear.
Frankly, I loved Uldum but I wish they had spent more time with the Ramkahen and less with Harrison Jones. Don't get me wrong, the Harrison Jones quests were entertaining, enjoyable (save for that damn invisibility one), and very clever, but I just felt like I would have rather gone through one less Titan complex and spent more time attacking Neferset.
I just felt like the Neferset were the new Howling Fjord vrykul, a whole lot of time spent shaping them to be incredibly powerful and building conflict, and then resolved in three quests with a leader who was just kind of there that we killed with no real reason other than he was a bad guy. It went from this great story of a hesitant King preparing to go to war, to a huge battle outside the city, to oh look that high prophet guy is dead we winz.

I'm more curious about the skyward beams of light you help Jones start - they're still firing off (to signal the Titans?) after you complete the zone.
Boobah Jan 7th 2011 3:48PM
The Immortal Colossi are gone; apparently they were powered by the Dark Pharaoh or something, because when he dies they just collapse.
There are some Neferset left; these are the guys hanging out in Vortex Pinnacle, Halls of Origination, and (especially) the Lost City. On the other hand, they don't seem to be fielding any more armies capable of challenging the Ramkahen.
The light from the obelisks is part of whatever they do to activate the Halls of Origination; how long they'll stay active is anybody's guess, but as long as they are it's not impossible that Deathwing will make another play to activate the Halls.

I was looking for the other obligatory "Enhance!" video, but ran across this instead and decided to go with it:

lol, funny short video.
Aspirisis Jan 7th 2011 11:16AM
Are they planning on enabling the "Exit Cinematic" feature for all the cinematics in Uldum? That is my least favorite part about the zone, and last I checked, only a few are "exit-able". I keep hitting escape and screaming, but Harrison Jones just keeps doing...whatever he's doing at the time.
naughtyzoot Jan 7th 2011 11:19AM
Agree 100%! My ire for Uldum as a questing zone is for this very reason. Really sucks to have to watch them over and over for every alt I've run through there.
Junionn Jan 7th 2011 11:34AM
How many alts have you managed to run through Uldum a month into the expansion? I'm not trying to call you out, but you sound rather hardcore, at least in terms of play time. I think 90% of players don't mind the cutscenes if they aren't playing the game that often.
