I've had decent RNG for a few things: Green Proto on my 2nd egg, Sewer Rat in my first few fishing dailies, Sinister Squashling in my first bag the first time I did the Goldshire quests a couple years ago, Polar Bear took me about 3 weeks, but that's still not bad.But 2 that have eluded me, even though I've tried and tried: I've run Occulus about 150 times and can't get that blue drake. I've seen in drop in other bags several times - once even for another guildie on her first run, and she didn't even have epic flight. Still doesn't! Also, I've made a bajillion casts and never seen Old Ironjaw. That one is killing me.

Oh man, I feel you... when I was playing Alliance for a stretch (I'm primarily Horde), I skilled Fishing all the way up to 450 *solely* in IF looking for that Light-damned fish. Could not even hazard a guess as to how many hours I spent...One particularly boring morning I had been there for, I kid you not, four and a half hours straight (got on early morning, was killing time before a late morning/early afternoon scheduled guild event)... a guildie passed by, saw me fishing and was like "Oh hey, I'll hang out with ya, could use some Fishing skillups anyway"..... and that RAT BAS***D got Old Ironjaw less than ten minutes after he sat down next to me.I'm usually fairly level-headed, but I had to go AFK and chain-smoke for several minutes to keep from reaching through the monitor and throttling that guy at that point.Never did end up getting that stupid fish on that toon at any point after, either. :(
