The only changes I have an issue with are the changes to Survival hunters. I understand that we have been galloping ahead of our MM and BM brothers and sisters, and that the gap between us had be closed somewhat. But I have a distinct feeling that such a harsh nerf to our signature shots will prevent Survival from being fun to play. I don't have a huge problem with respeccing if I have to, but I have fallen in love with Survival this expansion and really don't want to be forced into letting it go.
As for all the Heroic changes - I am glad that Blizzard are putting slight nerfs on the bosses. While many are whining that we're going back into Wrath and that bosses were simple enough before (Really? Simple? I'll eat my hat.), I personally believe that they were a bit too challenging. I've always hated being unable to do things, so endless wiping on bosses (in most of the heroics I've attempted in a PuG group, we've not even managed to get past the first boss) just gets me frustrated. I like a challenge, but I don't like a huge difficulty. I did heroic Deadmines for the first time the other day, and I enjoyed it, because it was exactly what a heroic needs to be - not easy, but not a wipefest either. I died a few times, but hey, I actually found it fun. Bosses didn't make me want to yank out my hair.
I will be a lot more willing to try PuG heroics after this patch, that's for sure.
