Good article for yesterday. They are making some changes to shaman healing spells in the next 'patch'. Mana Tide Totem for instance is being up to 400% of the shamans spirit and is exclusive to short duration trinkets that give spirit boost. This reduces the value of Core of Ripeness.Good article, many of the concerns are being addressed already.-Cabowabo

yeah, like I mentioned above, patch notes hit before article. That said you can still use it until 4.0.6 actually goes live. :D silver lining there.

I understand, it was just a timing thing. I wasn't trying to slam you at all. Just wanted to warn people of the change before they decided to buy the trinket. I think it is still a good trinket, just not as good as it has been.I never knew about those haste #'s for getting extra ticks. That will help me make more informed decisions on reforging. I do have a question, does each additional amount give an additional tick or is it more complicated after the first haste level?-Cabo

It's more complicated; the first tick only needs 50% of the haste that each additional tick does, because the game rounds up when calculating the number of ticks you get.Basically, you need twice the amount listed for the first tick for each additional tick; which means that if you've got enough for one extra tick of Earthliving, you're already getting two extra Riptide ticks.
