It's also important to keep in mind that the rest of the group is extremely important to healing successfully now. When I started with my Pally in heroics I was pretty spoiled, getting some pugs that knew how to CC, get out of the fire and wait on mana before charging. I wondered what everyone was complaining about. Later I got a few of the infamous groups that make healers want to die and understood the complaints better.

I feel like things are getting better overall as people are learning but we have to keep in mind we can't correct for everyone's laziness anymore like we used to. the rest of the group doing their duty is just as important to our success as we are to theirs.
