A few of my coworkers, family and friends tried WoW out a few years ago and I have gotten 2 of them to get back into the game. But the main reason most of them gave me for not liking the game was generally because of some bad experience(s) with other players.

I think that is because unlike other games where you can change your name.. and go on with your life after something stupid happens, it is different in WoW.

Just some people have a low tolerance for some of the idiots in the game.
