Around Azeroth: Don't you forget about me
Did you think that just because Outland is a deserted wasteland these days, the Fel Reavers would be friendlier? More likely to give you a hug and a bouquet of flowers? Nope, they still want to kick your head in. Recent victim Creannah of <The Old Guard> on Saurfang (EU-A) provides some insight into their thought process: "There, I hope you learned your lesson. Just because you got a big bad dragon on the loose in Azeroth, it doesn't mean I slack on my job."

I miss the Fel Reaver.I love the sound he makes and how he gracefully glides across the ground. At least I can have my own mini Fel Reaver now with the Personal World Destroyer!

I often feel the Hellfire Peninsula was what I was hoping the rest of the Outland was going to be like, more flying bombing quests and more just fun easy quests to break up the monotony.
But instead, we got some good zones but other than Hellfire Peninsula there was literally next to no more fun on-rails stuff or other quests that we've never experienced before. I do like quite a few Outland zones, Blades Edge is strangely fun and the Nagrand PvP zone was quite a cool concept that I never really felt worked out them.

The only way this could be more nostalgic would be if it was near the boars you kill for the expedition in the western part of the zone...

once watched a gnome get stomped from behind by a fel reaver... nub was too busy staring at me thinking i was gonna gank him, he didn't even see/hear it coming!

I remember when my younger sister first started playing WoW. She hit Outlands and saw the Fel Reaver, I told her to go up to it because it gave her a quest.
Lols were had by both of us.

I was just recently in Hellfire (digging in the dirt), and I saw a Fel Reaver. I had more health that it did, and then proceeded to take great joy in killing it (and barely getting a scratch in the process).
If I kill about 10 more, we will be about even :)

I had exactly the same experience - just found myself in Outland levelling my warlock's archaeology, and happened to run across a Fel Reaver. Before engaging, I actually declared "Ah, Mr Fel Reaver, I think we have some unfinished business!" at my computer screen.

You should have said, "Prepare for oblivion!!" I think that's a 'lock trademark now.

This would be better if this played while he walked into the sunset.

While I've been killed by him many times, and I've been paying him back, I shall always miss the Fel Reaver. The greatest thing ever though was back when I first hit 70 and got my flying mount. Was flying around Hellfire, and saw him just boosting through everything. He abruptly stopped, killed a low level person, and kept on rocket boosting.

while flying back and forth to solo old 70 dungeons for rep on my 85 priest, I kicked the fel reavers ass numerous times for vengeance.

Ah... I remember my first run in with the ol' Reaver.
My friend was playing his Mage and I, I was playing my Shaman. We were out, lighting things on fire and punching them in the face, when we felt the ground quake, and we turned to see a giant mechanical monstrosity lumbering toward us.
Nipah: We... we should probably move a little further away.
Psymon: Nah, it's cool... *sits down to drink*
~vwee clunk vwee clunk*
*CRUNCH*
Nipah: Hey... you want a rez?
Psymon: ... please.
Ah... good times. Good times indeed.

I have always admired the Fel Reavers for their fine ninja skills.
