Excellent Work with the Enchants Guide! But i am having a real hard time trying to figure out what to Gem for as a raider.SilverstreakShattered Hand

Wouldn't the +20 AGI glove enchant from Wrath be better than the +65 Mastery? I'm pretty sure that 1 AGI is worth about 4 mastery, at least on my spreadsheet.

Unless you are raiding right now, I'd wait to gem until after 4.06 drops. That way you can gem for the far superior meta. The you pretty much want +40 AGI wherever you can put it, unless the gem bonus gives you agi already. Then go for AGI + Crit.

Agility. It is, by far, our greatest stat in Cata. Don't gem hit since a lot of fear has a good amount already and you can reforge lesser stats (mastery) instead of taking up a precious gem slot.

Frostheim has a gemming guide on his website at:http://www.warcrafthuntersunion.com/2010/11/best-cataclysm-hunter-gems/

reforge in to hit, if you're below hit cap, you should always avoid gemming for hit as the benefit of putting other +stats far outweighs it. You should, through creative reforging, be able to pretty much get the hit cap spot on with a small margin for error. use femaledwarf.com to fiddle around with your reforging to find out which set up is going to give you the best DPS after getting hit capped, or getting close - it also saves you a lot of money to figure this out before hitting up the reforger in your capital city. :-)Stat priority for gems is agi, crit, mastery, haste... gem accordingly. You can also use femaledwarf.com here to figure out which gem setup is going to give you the best theoretical DPS, but the general rule of thumb is to ignore socket bonuses as they rarely give you a bigger benefit than simply whacking a +40 agi gem in there.as we're talking stats, it should also be mentioned that if you're running heroics and more specifically raids you should try have the best raid buffs also. Bring your own +90 agi food (skewered eel) and +300 agi flasks (flask of the winds). If the flasks are a little out of your price-range you can look at the +100 agi scrolls (Scroll of Agility IX).
