With the recent nerf to alchemy + DEing and the relative lack of raiding this early in the expansion maelstrom crystals are going for 3K+ on my server. That makes many of these enchants cost-prohibitive.

How about a list of BiS hunter enchants that don't use crystals?

Many of these have a cheaper version:
Chest - Powerful Stats (from Wrath +10 all stats vs. +20)
Back - Critical Strike (+50 crit vs. +65)
Hands - Mastery (+50 mastery vs +65)
Wrist - Critical Strike (+50 crit vs. +65)

Due to the prohibitive cost of the maelstrom crystals, I've been using these in my pre-raiding gear (except for wrist as I'm a leatherworker and use the +130 agi emboss). I can't justify spending upwards to 5K or more just to have 15 - 30 extra crit rating or +10 agi.

I was only looking at Cataclysm enchants for these, but there are indeed some Wrath enchants that are better than currently available cata enchants -- I'll update the post as soon as I have time (probably not 'til the weekend).
