Ask Creative Development - Round IIThe members of our creative development department, headed up by Chris Metzen, are the creators, keepers, and librarians of our game lore and story. These caretakers work closely with the authors who write our licensed books and comics (or sometimes write 'em themselves), and collaborate with the game developers to ensure cohesive and correct use of characters and lore (Red Shirt Guys notwithstanding). Now they're ready to once again answer your Warcraft lore questions!

I think Deathwing probably was more concerned over the loss of the eggs Sinestra was caring for. He's a psychopathic genocidal dragon, the only thing he cares about is killing, killing, and more killing, and the loss of his offspring army is likely his biggest concern. The only question I'd have is will he try to force another dragon into being a consort (Alexstrasza?)
Speaking of Alexstrasza, the biggest lore question I have is how will she react to the news that her son Calen (aka Caelestrasz) was killed in the encounter with Sinestra?

Except for the Draenei... Or anything that happens in a Knaak book...
Only teasing :P the Blizzard lore department are some of the greatest story tellers in the gaming industry and get extra props for admitting their mistakes.

I enjoyed the previous questions really much. I hope the new ones are just as good. I love how blizz goes and aswers peoples concerns over the lore. It's pure joy. I was so shocked when I learned that undead people burn when using the light.. let's hope something shocking is revealed this time too.

Two things:
One, the thread from last time is gone. D: Sucks. I didn't get to read it.
Two, how do you make it so you only see the Blue posts in a thread? I've seen it done before, I just don't know how.

I apparently underestimate my knowledge of lore. Some of the questions asked I can answer. I think if KYL ever gets low on ideas they can read that thread and elaborate on any they don't answer.
