The Classifieds: Patch notes keep rolling

The important thing to remember here is that everyone moves at their own pace. If your guild isn't downing bosses left and right, don't panic. Most people aren't. If you're a new guild, heavy on melee, lacking experienced raid leaders, have a weird raid composition, or any other of a billion things, don't worry. Focus on enjoying the game and just keep moving forward. Patch notes will keep rolling, you'll keep playing, and we'll all get through it together.
Random Acts of Uberness
It's when another player lights up your night with precise play, a wicked sense of humor or unexpected generosity that your login becomes something to remember. Share your Random Acts of Uberness with theclassifieds@wowinsider.com. Keep things brief (150 words or less, please), and be sure to list everyone's character names and home realms or battlegroup.

Faelyci of <Forest of Oblivion> After staying up past my bed time, spending way too much gold leveling my tailoring, I put up two Hyjal Expedition Bags on the AH to recover some of my expenses. The next day, I smiled to see that they had sold, but when I opened my mail I found that I had put them up for 4 gold 95 silver each instead of 495 gold as I had intended.Then I got an in-game mail from Faelyci containing both my bags. This kind draenei shaman saw that I had made a simple mistake on the AH and rescued my mispriced bags. Her simple kindness, cheerful note, and willingness to spend 10 gold and few minutes time to help out another player make her uber in my book. Thank you so much, Faelyci! -- Rylka
Madyia of Auchindoun Our guild group landed in heroic Stonecore the other night and we were grouped with Madyia as a healer. The first two bosses were easy, but then came Ozruk. After breaking ourselves upon his body several times, repairing, and wiping several more times, we started to get worried in Vent that Madyia might leave. I felt horrible because most of the wipes were directly attributable to me: the tank. Ozruk's AE abilities were frequent and unforgiving, but after 8 or 9 wipes, I finally found my tanking groove and we killed him. After that, the last boss was cake. I just wanted to thank Madyia for patiently helping this poor tank through a tough fight. Hope you get that trinket from Azil!

That is AWESOME. I did that once with a 32 slot herb bag. I put it up for 2g95s. I catch these 99.99% of the time and cancel them. This time I didn't. I actually put in a ticket thinking I didn't make the mistake. Turns out I did. Ah well. Good thing Fae was there to catch that for you. That is just too cool.

When I looked in the mail and saw the two payments for 4g 95s, I just hung my head a little and had to laugh at myself. I hoped that whoever ended up with my bags enjoyed their windfall and tried not to be sour about it.
Then when I got the mail with the rescued bags and the note it just made my day. :)

I agree with B! I mean if B doesn't think this column is worth its weight, then it should be taken down! WHO ARE WE TO QUESTION B? Besides that’s exactly what WoW Insider needs, LESS CONTENT! I know people may see his comment and think he's just some lifeless Internet troll raging about how butt hurt he is because some all powerful being forced him to come to this website and painstakingly read every word in the classifieds column, but lets think about B here for a second. It pains me to think B might lose even a minute of sleep tonight while this classifieds column just sits here, insulting him through it's mere existence. I'm just glad B was able to make his statement so eloquently and with such dignity. B FOR WAR CHIEF!

B has been at the forefront fighting against the more civil tone of The Classifieds since day one. Reading The Classifieds without seeing a blackened post by B is kind of like leveling an alt through The Barrens without hearing a single Chuck Norris joke.

If this is such a waste of time to read, then just scroll down to the next article and don't even bother. Or better yet, maybe go stream some episodes of Jersey Shore as this type of lowbrow entertainment appeals to bitter little twerps like you.

You know what's sad? I'm usually so asleep at the wheel and letting Auctioneer handle my auctions that if this happened on my server, those would have been bought and vendored by my bank alt and I might not even notice (Auctioneer buys all auctions under vendor cost for me and then sells automatically). Usually I catch stuff like this, but given the grind and late hours of the rep grind I'm working on, more than once I have been logged out for being asleep in the chair.

Hopefully soon I will finish the grind and be able to do heroics and witness my body being broke upon heroics.

oh my gee, someone from my realm being nice???? And from the highest guild on my server?? wow... im shocked... a good portion of thier guild members are really rude. and most usually back down after one wipe. so kodos to madyia!

Thanks for mentioning that most people aren't downing raid bosses left and right. My little guild has been a little slow in getting back into the swing of things. Been feeling a little discouraged that we'll never get back on the horse again. It was a big deal that we downed the LK on 10 man and we thought that we would get an early start on Cataclysm. Alas, with real life, holidays, and just general slow gearing, it hasn't been the mad rush to glory that we had hoped.

99% of the Acts of Uberness are really things that should be normal (not dropping group after a wipe/wipes, giving advice to new players rather than swearing at them etc). It's disheartening that they're considered so rare that they need their own column :(
(I do like reading about them anyway!)
