Yes. Yes and yes. Being the only AoE in a group as a hunter sucks on Corborus. It's fine until after the first burrow, when he comes up and drops the crystals and you're out of focus because of the adds in phase 2. I have heard that the hunter in your guild hates everything though...:D

h stonecore is a pain in the ass but it's nowhere near raid level.
ozruk is a pain in the ass but it's a very simple pattern that you just repeat until he dies. the only annoying thing about him is that i'm a warrior, so i can't charge (he turns and blows up the raid most of the time) or shield slam (i knock off his spell reflect thing).

I agree with Vocen: regular Stonecore is bad enough. I've never even attempted a Cata heroic because the regular dungeons feel like raids.
And I heartily disagree that the final boss is a cakewalk--she's the main reason all the Stonecore pugs I've been in keep falling apart. 40 minutes in the queue, 40 minutes killing things, then another 40 minutes of tanks and healers dropping and being replaced because we can't defeat the priestess.
Nerf away, baby, and someday I might actually attempt a heroic. (And this from a player with seven 80s who regularly ran Wrath heroics.)

For those who think Stonecore is easysauce, try it with a bit of latency.
Until Bliz sees fit to locate some Oceanic servers actually IN the oceanic region, I live 9000 miles away from the server, so average latency tends to be around 300ms.
300ms means Ozruk's 30-degree frontal cone attack turns into a 90-degree frontal cone attack, as far as getting out of the way of it as a tank is concerned. I have even been killed by it when standing *behind* him.
300ms cuts your reaction time on worm-dirt to next-to-nothing. If you are not moving when it happens, you're dead. It's a bear of a fight on my shaman healer because I have to stop to cast heals, risking becoming wormfood each time.

You may have? As in you're not certain whether or not you actually slow-clapped?

How to DPS Ozruk, in 2 simple steps
1.Roll a Hunter
2. Sit at max range and DPS, your not a melee or a caster, therefore not a single one of his skills (other than paralyze) will effect you.

I. Loathe. Slabhide.
I've never done Stonecore on heroic, but dear god, I hate it already. Especially when my group zergs the first trash group, then wonders why we wiped because two mobs gave off a powerful AoE at once and the group refused to CC.
Slabhide.
HAAAAAATE.
Especially when I have a tank that moves around all the time. Especially when I am running around just to get a damn Prayer of Mending on him. When the tank is moving around I cannot, for the love of all that is holy, cast a goddamn heal on him because he goes out of LoS every half a second. CANNOT. At all. That was the first time I ever had it implied to my face I was a bad healer, and almost got kicked because of it, and I was working my ass off trying to keep up with that stupid tank. (Luckily, the next time I did it, that tank made the effort to keep within LoS so we didn't wipe ten million times.)
I don't want to heal this on heroic EVER.

ozruk is really only difficult for the tank. for everyone else, all they need to do is reflect a dot on themselves, and thats it. none of the dps need to even worry about shatter unless they're standing in front of the boss for some reason

@Heilig: THANK YOU. I was just so frustrated by that big steaming pile of QQ that I wanted to also post why a lot of it was wrong and a lot of it was ... I don't even know what it was, pointless whining about how they can't one-shot stuff? But you did it for me, so I don't have to be all reasonable and lay out stuff about fight mechanics now, I can just say "good job" to you and "wow, I thought the people at Wow Insider were supposed to be fairly decent at the game."
From the queue answer: "Other heroic bosses are hard, but how many of them make you sit down and really pick the game's mechanics apart?" So we're not supposed to learn game mechanics for boss fights? Le sigh ...

While I agree that the fights are a little counter-intuitive ( = poorly designed! ) I wouldn't label that is that absolute hardest instance in the game at the moment, and certainly not harder than raiding. With the use of something like Wowhead to look up boss abilities, the poor design is mostly mitigated, and I'd say Stonecore is only the fourth-hardest 85 heroic, behind Grim Batol, Shadowfang Keep and Deadmines. This is, of course, completely subjective.

"For high priestess, you didn't even mention the single most important aspect of that fight: interrupts. If the force grasp isn't interrupted, you're going to wipe. Either the tank will die from too much damage, the healer will go OOM from healing all that damage, or the adds will eat someone while the tank is held in the air. Calling it the easiest fight in the instance assumes that your group is better than you have made them out to be through your previous diatribe. Interrupting casts is as critical to successful dungeons as reading debuffs and moving out of bad stuff."
---------
You can interrupt that?! HEALER RAGE!! (Priest; I have no way to hit it myself. =| )
Why exactly have I spent collectively about 10 hours wiping on that fight to OOM and/or the adds squishing people and/or the tank dying while I kite the adds that are all over me through the voids? Here I just assumed if a cast is NEVER interrupted, then it must not be interruptable. Are tanks the only people that can interrupt these days?
Do the healers of the world a service: instruct your newbie DPS friends that "if it has a cast bar, interrupt it" right after the "always be casting" or "DPS from behind the boss" advice.
